Passengers with disabilities
At Wrexham & Shropshire we work hard to ensure that all our passengers, including those with special travel needs, experience the same ease of access and journey comfort.
Our Disabled Persons' Protection Policy sets out our approach to meeting the requirements of the Office of the Rail Regulator's Code of Practice, 'Meeting The Needs of Disabled Passengers' and describes the arrangements for implementing our Policy. You can request a copy from our Customer Services.
Our refurbished trains, from the summer, will have a dedicated area for wheelchair users and a wheelchair accessible toilet. In the short term, there will be limitations in the facilities. We therefore advise that all passengers with specific requirements make their needs known to our customer services team prior to their journey.
So if you can, please let us know of your requirements before you travel – just phone Customer Services on 0845 260 5200 (0900 – 1700 Monday to Friday), so we can make sure everything is ready for you.
